Exam outline and official sources
National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM), formerly NCCAOM · 2026 examination content outlines, effective September 1, 2026. The assigned NCCAOM workbook label maps to the current NCBAHM Diplomate of Acupuncture certification, assessed through Foundations of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture with Point Location, and Biomedicine. It is a certification pathway comprising three examinations, not a separate examination titled Diplomate of Acupuncture. The issuer changed its name in January 2026; the assigned slug is preserved.
This original 20-question sample covers selected topics across the outline. It does not reproduce official exam questions or cover every tested topic.
